The core of every order
Custom Team Jerseys — made one roster at a time
A jersey is the only garment every team we make for orders, and the only one a program is recognised by from the stands. It is also the one where the differences between sports are real rather than cosmetic: a baseball placket, a basketball armhole and a volleyball hem are three different pattern problems, and treating them as one is how a kit ends up technically correct and physically wrong.
What does carry across is everything behind the pattern — the fabric we knit to, the way ink is put into it, and the artwork process that gets a logo from a coach’s phone onto a garment without losing its edges. That shared half is why one factory can cover nineteen sports properly.
Team Jerseys in other colourways
The same construction, made up in different colours. Yours is produced to your own design.

Sublimated or stitched — the choice that decides everything else
Almost every question about a jersey resolves to this one. The two routes cost differently, wash differently and suit different designs.
| Full sublimation | Stitched and pressed | |
|---|---|---|
| How the colour gets there | Dyed into the fibre before the garment is sewn | Applied to a finished garment as twill, vinyl or ink |
| Design freedom | Unlimited — gradients, all-over patterns, photographic panels | Flat colour shapes and lettering |
| Feel on the body | Nothing to feel; the surface is unchanged | You can feel the letters and numbers |
| How it ages | Colour cannot crack or peel; it fades only as the fabric does | Edges lift eventually, and a torn twill letter can be replaced |
| Best suited to | Modern kit, complex artwork, light fabrics | Traditional looks — baseball, varsity, throwbacks |
Numbers, names and the things that get them wrong
Most reprints we see are not design failures. They are roster failures — a name spelled from memory, a number issued twice, a size list built from last season’s squad. We send the roster back as a proof sheet before anything is printed, with every name and number as it will actually appear, because a single character is cheap to fix on a screen and expensive to fix on twenty garments.
Number height and placement are worth a decision rather than a default. Leagues that specify a height usually specify a contrast rule with it, and the two together rule out some designs entirely; our guide to preparing artwork for printing sets out what a file needs to carry before it reaches production.
Sponsor marks are the third thing that catches teams out. A sponsor supplies a logo built for a letterhead, and it has to survive being stretched across a chest panel on a moving body. We redraw those as vector before they go anywhere near a printer, at no charge, because the alternative is a blurred mark that the sponsor sees first.
What we build to
These are the specifications we work to across sports. Where a sport needs something different, the specialist site for it says so.

- Sizes
- Youth XS through Adult 5XL, with women’s-specific cuts where the sport has them
- Artwork
- Vector preferred; we redraw raster logos to vector as part of the mockup

- Reorders
- Artwork and the approved roster are kept on file, so a mid-season addition matches the original run

Ask about this →Questions we get asked
Can you match our existing jerseys if we only need a few more?
Usually yes, if the original was ours — we keep the artwork and the dye reference on file, so a mid-season addition comes out of the same recipe. If the original came from elsewhere, send us a physical sample rather than a photo; a screen cannot tell us what a dye lot did.
How close will the colours be to our school or club colours?
Send us a Pantone reference and we will match it within the tolerance of the fabric. Without one we match to the closest standard and show you the result on the mockup before production, which is the point at which a mismatch is free to fix.
Do you have a minimum order?
Minimums differ by garment and by sport, and the specialist site for your sport states its own. Ask us with the roster size in front of you rather than guessing — the answer is often lower than teams expect for sublimated work.
What happens if a player leaves after we have ordered?
Before production, nothing — we reissue the proof sheet. After production, a single replacement jersey is a short reorder against the artwork we already hold, not a new setup.
Can you print sponsor logos we do not own?
We need written permission from whoever owns the mark. Teams normally have this from the sponsor already; a forwarded email naming the team and the season is enough.
How long does a jersey order take?
Three to four weeks of production after the artwork is approved. The part that varies is the approval itself, not the making — a program with one person who can say yes usually orders two to three weeks faster than one circulating a mockup by email.
Can we see a physical sample before committing?
Yes, and for a first order with a new program it is usually money well spent. It adds a week or two, so ask before approving the mockup rather than after.
What file do you need for our logo?
The original from whoever designed it — AI, EPS or SVG. If all you have is a PNG or a photo of a shirt, send that; we redraw it to vector as part of the mockup and do not charge for it.
Do you make women's-specific cuts?
Yes, where the sport has them, and it is worth asking for rather than assuming a unisex block will do. In volleyball and soccer particularly the fit difference is not small.
Can players have different sleeve lengths in one squad?
Within one order, yes. It is a common request for goalkeepers and for players who prefer a long sleeve in cold weather, and it does not change the price of the rest of the set.

Sizes, colours and roughly when you need it is enough to work from. You get a written quote and a mockup in your colours before anything is committed, and the design brief on our step-by-step kit design tool covers the same ground if you would rather build it yourself first.
